My daughter. She is a young YouTuber with her own channel and recently started earning little pocket money from the advertising revenue from her creations.
This is awesome as to get to earning you needed 1000 followers and 4000 watch hours or 10m views. When I do stuff it’s lucky to get 1 view or subscriber! She just seems to have the knack to create relatable content, which comes with seeing through a child’s eyes and capturing it.
We have a rule that she doesn’t show her face or give anything personal away in her videos and so she is ridiculously adherent to this – don’t get me wrong – a great trait to be a stickler for the rules.
She has been so excited this week as YouTube emailed to say thank you with a free Greggs sausage roll voucher and some YouTube stickers. A nice little touch to keep her motivation up!
