Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning
On an ever spinning reel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that’s turning
Running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes of it’s face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind !
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind !
The above lyrics could not be more true for me right now.
Most of the time, my mind is just way way too busy. I look, yet I don’t see. Today, I decided to take a few snaps of what my eyes were drawn to on my daily walk in the park in the hope of becoming inspired enough to finally get back into creative writing again.
From dingly dell to a haunted tree, it was all there just waiting for me to run away with, yet my mojo is still hiding from me.
I know this block will pass eventually….but when?
Very nice flow to your writing. I’m enjoying looking at your blogs. Photography is very nice. I’m thinking about getting my camera out and begin to add some photos to my site. I have a short story that I had written for my granddaughters which has several photos. I wanted to pass something on to my grandchildren when I’m gone, so I decided to share the lessons of life that I have learned. Work for me but maybe not to others. Check it out at authorllfranklin.com click on “Love, Dry Creek & a dog named Max.” Hope you life it.
