Acolyte:
– a person assisting a priest in a religious service or procession.
– assistant or follower.”she runs the department through a small group of acolytes”
This word has manifested itself to me three times in a short space of time, appearing first in a conversation and then twice thereafter within days from books I am reading, interestingly with no obvious acolyte connection!
This is what makes it a magic word.
I like to keep a note of these and so I thought it would be fun to share when they crop up as they are usually very random words or words I did not know before their appearance in my life. I like to think there’s subliminal meaning there somewhere.
What do you think? Does this happen to you too?
I love this. I looked into this a while back as I have a background in risk management. I think it is the Baader–Meinhof phenomenon. Take a google but its fascinating GD.
