My five year old telling me that I am the best mummy in the world and that he definitely wouldn’t swap me in the playground for someone else’s.
My eight year old daughter snuggling up with me to chat about how she feels and asking the questions she has about some of the sad or just plain weird things she saw on TikTok after she challenged me that she was old enough to access it herself for an hour.
Eight pm walks in the woods in our pjs and hoodies just for kicks.
Watching the pride in my little zoo keepers when the guinea pigs found the new top deck and got stuck into some stellar treats up there.
Torrential rain and the liberation of being ok with getting wet hair.
The local prison museum being the best day ever and almost getting locked in because we were there so long.
Breakfast cereal before bed.
Being sleepier than they think they are ♥️
❤️❤️❤️ – and three cheers for you having noticed those little things and are appreciating them! xxx

What a lovely day, the kids will cherish them as they get older too and appreciate you so much for it. Imagine the evening the play dough kids had eh? We fostered a little lad who had a terrible upbringing at the age of 5. He left us aged 7 with his forever family with a renewed outlook. Your day with the kids should be savoured. My kids now 25, 23 and 18 sat and watched our old cam corder videos of when they were growing up earlier this week with us. We all had a real good laugh. Although there fav video was dad and grandad coming home from the pub 6 hours late for dinner pi$$ed haha
